Industrial Cleaner
Location: Schiedam, Blue Orange B.V.
Hours: full time – 40 hours per week

What does your day look like?
After a cup of coffee in Schiedam, you will discuss the schedule with the team. Today,
for example, an air cooler of a container ship in the port of Rotterdam is going to be taken care of.
First, you do a visual inspection together with a mechanic. Then your challenge starts: the cooler
is first hosed down and then bathed for ultrasonic cleaning. During that process
create a service report based on your inspection. Then the real work begins: the cooler
is cleaned with high pressure. It then goes on to your colleagues for any
repairs, after which another report is prepared.
What will you do
– Cleaning: Visual check on arrival, pre-rinse, pressure wash, interior rinse,
dry clean, rinse, ultrasonic bath, and rinse again.
– Assist with maintenance: Assemble and disassemble covers, make gaskets,
replace bolts and nuts, and paint parts if necessary.
What do you bring with you?
– Driver’s license B (pre)
– VCA (pre)
– Forklift certificate (pre)
– Several years of experience in a similar (industrial) position (pre)
– In possession of own transportation
